This is a great piece of French country pottery. Simple un glazed Walnut Oil jar is full of rustic character and primitive Charm. The main body is painted a wonderful Original French green has pushes from the potters hands from where he removed it from the wheel. No cracks but a couple of small chips and mouse nibbles around the bottom showing it had a working life.
